Study Circle: Teaching Listening, Speaking and Pronunciation

Location: Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, 38 Ash St., Chinatown
Description: The purpose of this 3-session study circle is to familiarize participants with the existing research on the processes of listening, speaking, and pronunciation acquisition, and to explore the pedagogical implications of this research in their own classrooms. There are assignments prior to the first session and between each session. ADVANCE PREPARATION REQUIRED: Register for this training at least one week before the session by completing part 1 of the pre-assignment and emailing it to lhaller@englishfornewbostonians.org. Part 2 of the pre-assignment will then be sent to you. See attached assignment.
