December 17, 2010 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Audio Update: 2010 End of Session Wrap-Up
Audio Conference

Please join us for National Skills Coalition’s annual End of Session Audio Update—Federal Workforce Policy: Closing out the 111th Congress, Looking Ahead to 2011—on Friday, December 17 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

With continued high unemployment, job creation has been a focal point of Washington policy conversations in 2010, and workforce advocates have fought to ensure that skills are a central part of the conversations. With the close of the 111th Congress, we’ll look at what has been accomplished across a range of federal policies and what challenges and opportunities lie ahead under the incoming 112th. In addition to providing a debrief of work done during the post-election lame-duck session, we’ll provide an overview of the 2010 election results and what a number of new faces in Congress might mean for federal workforce policy efforts in 2011.

Speakers:

* Rachel Gragg, Federal Policy Director, National Skills Coalition
* Kermit Kaleba, Senior Policy Analyst, National Skills Coalition

Date: Friday, December 17, 2010
