CEDAC Commits Over $13 Million in Early Stage Financing to 32 Community Development Projects in First Half of FY22

CEDAC is proud to report that we have committed $13,144,010 in early stage financing for the production and preservation of affordable housing in 32 projects during the first half of FY22. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we continue to see strong demand for affordable housing projects in communities from Springfield to Topsfield to Winchendon. We look forward to supporting our non-profit developer partners as they move their projects forward through the high-risk predevelopment phase, when they secure zoning and local permitting approvals and construction and permanent financing commitments. We’re also encouraged by the growing number of affordable homeownership opportunities, which can advance racial equity by providing first-time homebuyers with wealth building opportunities.
