Multi-Level ESOL Instruction

March 30, 2011 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Multi-Level ESOL Instruction
Trainer: Andy Nash, Project Coordinator of the New England Literacy Resource Institute at World Education

Participants: Teachers

Dates: March 30th and April 27th, 6-9 pm. Participants must attend both sessions.

Location: TBA. Contact Lee Haller if your program would like to host this training.

Description: In this 2-part workshop, participants will consider a variety of ways to help students make progress in a multi-level classroom. We’ll explore strategies for keeping students at varied levels engaged in common projects or thematic lessons. We will also look at ways of “ratcheting up” (or down) activities so that they can challenge a range of students.

Register for either of these trainings by emailing Lee (see below). Staff who work in ENB-funded programs have priority to sign up for trainings, even if their position is not funded by ENB. One week before each training, ENB will make remaining spaces available to staff from non-ENB-funded programs.

Contact Lee with any questions.
