Tameka Favors

Senior Project Manager

Tameka Favors is a Senior Project Manager, where she underwrites pre-development loan requests and provides technical assistance to non-profit developers. She joined CEDAC in 2014 with over 10 years of experience in community development.

Tameka began her career in community development in 2004 as a project manager and real estate development coordinator with the Women’s Community Revitalization Project, a community development corporation in Philadelphia, after a short stint in mortgage banking.  She went on to work in Nashville as a consultant, helping to create and preserve affordable housing for people with mental illness before moving to Boston in 2010 to work for Boston’s Department of Neighborhood Development.  To date, she has participated in the creation and preservation of over 1,400 affordable units of housing for low-income families and persons with special needs.

Tameka is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia and has completed coursework toward a MS in Community Economic Development at Southern New Hampshire University.
